At Summit Home Remodeling, our staff is comprised of real people helping with real people’s housing needs. We developed a tight-knit, family-feel culture. Our 'Employee Spotlights' shine light on the faces of those who exemplify the best qualities of Summit Home Remodeling.
Today our spotlight centers on Brady Smith, our Assistant Director of Marketing!
Describe your journey into Summit Home Remodeling.
I started at another remodeling company before coming to Summit. I’d say my journey into the company was simple - I had two connections, Cody and Zack, who invited me and I’ve been an employee here ever since! It all comes down to friends who were more than welcome to give me a job.
What is your favorite part about working here?
I enjoy the culture quite a lot. There are a lot of young, motivated people pushing each other and ourselves. We’ve gained the ability to come in and work with friends inside and outside the office. That creates a competitive culture that expands the company and enables growth.
What do you like doing outside of work?
I enjoy being physically active - working out and playing sports. I love spending time with my fiancé - whom I’ve known about two and a half years, and six months into working with Summit - and dogs. I also enjoy professional wrestling. My favorite wrestler of all time is Stone Cold Steve Austin, and right now it’s Drew McIntyre. When it comes to wrestling I enjoy the entertainment side of it and how the performers are very athletic and physically active. High risk and high reward showbiz is very entertaining.
Any plans for the future you’d want to mention?
Right now I’m planning out a wedding. There’s a lot on my plate when it comes to that. That is the type of motivation that gives me drive - and thus I work harder every day. To provide for her and my future family, that’s what makes me the best employee at Summit I can be.
Brady’s work ethic is a reflection of how deeply he cares for his loved ones, and we believe these are qualities exhibited by multiple employees at Summit Home Remodeling. We’re grateful to have a friend like him and he has been nothing but a great addition to the Summit Family. We hope you have a great Friday!
